Reading with Mr. Fuller
If you look really closely, you can see the students sitting around the firepit in Mr. Fuller's room. He read them a spooky story for Halloween. The students always enjoy when Mr. Fuller (our Challenge teacher) shares a story with them. Thanks, Mr. Fuller!

Fall Fun with Mrs. VanWinkle
Mrs. VanWinkle (the county librarian) read some lovely "pumpkin-themed" books to the students right before Fall Break. Then, she brought in paper pumpkins for the students to decorate. They had a great time! Thanks, Mrs. VanWinkle!!

Don't Be A Bully
Mrs. Gutzwiller, our wonderful school counselor, visited our classroom to talk about the negative effects of bullying behavior. She helped the students become more aware of bullying behavior and what it looks and sounds like. The students were GREAT listeners. They even helped Mrs. Gutzwiller "deflate" a bully by using firm voices and looking the bully in the eyes. Thank you, Mrs. Gutzwiller!!
Mrs. Renforth is on the ROOF!!
One of our fourth grade teachers kept a promise to her class from last year. If a certain percentage of them passed the ISTEP, she would spend the day on the roof. Her kids worked really hard---and their teacher had to keep her promise! My students enjoyed seeing her on the roof that day. Thank you, Mrs. Renforth!
